BitMEX Makes A Statement With Bitcoin


Popular crypto trading platform BitMEX announced it has sold all of the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) it allotted to its users and converted them to Bitcoin (BTC). Although the exact amount of Bitcoin Cash sold was not revealed, it is believed to be a considerable amount since BitMEX has the largest amount of Bitcoin by volume.

Since the fork was created in August 2017, users have been split on which coin is the better option. A bitter rivalry has emerged as these two groups have come at odds with each other over several factors including Bitcoin’s “scaling debate.” It has been suggested this move is BitMEX’s way of aligning somewhat with Bitcoin over Bitcoin Cash.
